3rd-8th Team GPS

Team GPS offers a comprehensive year-round opportunity that deepens the exposure and instruction to a variety of sports for girls in 3rd-8th grade.

At each Team GPS session, high school student-athletes teach the skills and drills while the GPS Director coordinates the discussion topics. A low athlete to instructor ratio will always stay below 8:1.

Each Team GPS session also has a social discussion component with topics such as health and nutrition, friendships and relationships, social media, bullying, drugs and alcohol, body image, career exploration and the psychology of sport.

Additionally, Team GPS engages these future leaders in discussion topics about critical topics that face young women today. The goal is to open up their mind to the possibilities that exist in sport while giving them the critical thinking skills to better navigate their future as strong, confident women.

This year’s programs will take place on Sunday’s from 3pm-5pm (for the fall) at Evanston Township High School.
